AQUANAUT H₂O Explorer
The AQUANAUT system

ONE BACKPLATE.
EVERY LEVEL.

From your first serious recreational dive to the deepest technical exploration — the same backplate, the same system, the same philosophy. Built to grow with you.

Why a roadmap matters

One system.
Built for the long game.

Most brands sell you one product. When you progress, you buy another — and reset your muscle memory. AQUANAUT is built differently. Every product in the range shares the same backplate, the same harness geometry, the same D-ring configuration. When you progress, you add — you don't replace.

The VOYAGER backplate you buy today is the same backplate you'll use for twin cylinders when you're ready. One investment. For your entire diving life.

Product roadmap

The AQUANAUT
system.

Phase 01 · Now
VOYAGER — travel recreational BCD
Internal bladder. Rigid backplate in steel or aluminium — soft configuration also available. Technical performance, recreational comfort. Ideal for travel diving and Red Sea liveaboards.
Prototype #2 in water
Phase 02 · Next
Single-tank tech-oriented BCD
Higher lift. Same philosophy. Same backplate. For the diver ready to push further without changing systems. AL80, HP100 and stage configurations.
In development
Phase 03 · Roadmap
Technical twin-set + stage
Full technical team configuration. Twin cylinder manifold compatibility, stage bottle clip positions following GUE and UTD standards. Same backplate as VOYAGER.
Roadmap
Full range · Always AQUANAUT
Regulators · Wetsuits · Apparel
AQUANAUT regulators, wetsuits and technical apparel. One brand. One standard. Nothing else.
Rolling out
YOUR MUSCLE MEMORY
IS VALUABLE.
DON'T RESET IT.
Why continuity is a design choice

The philosophy
behind the roadmap.

01
Muscle memory is valuable
When you train with a specific backplate geometry and harness, your hands learn where everything is. Switching systems at depth resets this. The AQUANAUT backplate never changes.
02
Team readability
In DIR team diving, every diver must be able to operate any other diver's equipment in an emergency. One standardised configuration across the entire AQUANAUT range means your team is always readable.
03
Investment that scales
You buy the VOYAGER backplate once. When you progress to technical diving, you add a larger wing. The backplate — the most expensive single component — remains. Your investment compounds.
04
One standard throughout
Every AQUANAUT product meets the same material and quality standard. No tier system. No entry-level products with compromised materials. One standard from VOYAGER to twin-set.

Recreational diver

VOYAGER
Soft or aluminium

You travel frequently. Soft backplate is lightest; aluminium gives better in-water performance. Read: How to choose a travel BCD.

Cold water / drysuit

VOYAGER
Steel backplate

Steel adds negative buoyancy — reduces your weight belt. Same wing, same harness, same system.

DIR / Technical diver

VOYAGER
Then scale up

You know Hogarthian configuration. Start with VOYAGER. Change only the wing when you're ready for tech.
